How to find your own style of interpretation
If you want to use more your creativity and imagination and to find your own style of interpretation, I recommend you to take a look into the 12 Fantasies for flute solo written by Telemann in 1732-1733. There are few notations in the score, which gives you the freedom to choose not only the dynamic and the agogics for each fantasy, but also the musical ornaments and the character. That's great, isn't it?
